I built Meridian to understand markets by working through questions, putting views on record and learning from the evidence that changes them.
My focus is macroeconomics, fixed income, currencies and commodities. This is a solo student project: work I can explain, challenge and defend in conversation.

How I approach the research
- Start with pricing
- Separate an interesting economic story from a view the market may already reflect. State the question and time horizon.
- Test the explanation
- Compare data with expectations, examine the mechanism and consider what else could account for the move.
- Keep the limits visible
- Identify estimates, source mismatches and alternative interpretations. A market note does not need to end in a trade.
- Review the view
- For trade ideas, specify the instrument, catalyst, risks and invalidation. Preserve the original reasoning when adding dated updates.
I use AI tools to help collect sources, check calculations and develop the website. Questions, interpretation and challenges are part of my learning; assistance and material limitations are disclosed in the relevant work. Meridian is educational research, not an investment service.
